November 2004, Torino. Aldo Brovarone sketching numerous proposals fot the STUDIOTORINO spider.On 16 June 2005, after 6 months of work, the first two STUDIOTORINO specials were presented at the Turin motor museum, Biscaretti di Ruffia.
They were the RUF RK Spyder and the RUF R Spyder designed by Aldo Brovarone and both built on Porsche 987s, the project was developed together with Alois Ruf from Ruf Automobile.
The two prototypes were purposely hand built using the most traditional techniques of the Turin school of modeling and bodywork.
February 2005, Rivoli. C.Bordone, A. Stola, S. Sellan and V. Della Rocca.Upon completion of STUDIOTORINO's spyder, Alfredo gave a preview of the result to three men who were fundamental in the history of his family's firm.
Carlo Bordone, Sellan Sante and Vittorio Della Rocca were the workshop managers who worked at various times between 1945 and 2002 in the model shops in Via Issiglio 38 and Via La Thuile 69/71 in Turin and in Via Ferrero 9 in Rivoli.

Between 2006 and 2007 two more examples were built of the Spyder version for the American market with the 3600 cc kompressor engine that developed 440 bhp.

16th June 2005, MAUTO di Torino. A from the STUDIOTORINO premiere.Centre, the RUF RK Spyder. Currently this example is in Turin, still with the red interior, but now with white body work.

Massimo Stola 1960 - 2006On the 25th April 2006, at the age of just 46, Massimo Stola passed away after a long illness which he fought with courage and dignity.
He was a good person, and a tireless worker of great intelligence.
The company owed so much to him in the areas of surface mathematics and CNC milling of models.
Between 1979 and 1981, Massimo was a pioneer in Italy for the development of dedicated software in these areas.

18 AUGUST 2006

On 18 August 2006, as a natural evolution of the RK project, again using a Porsche 987, Ruf Automobile together with STUDIOTORINO presented the RK Coupé at "The Quail Lodge" in Carmel, California.
This Coupé, again designed by Aldo Brovarone, was also produced in two models for the European market with a 3600 cc kompressor engine developing 470 bhp. 30 bhp of power increase compared to the first two RUF RK Spyder as a result of the development work followed first hand by Alois Ruf.

6th August 2006. On the roof of the Lingotto, Turin prior to leaving for Quail Lodge,
Carmel (USA) for the official presentation on the 18th.

18th August 2006, Carmel. Official presentation of the RK Coupé in the area dedicated
to Ruf Automobile at The Quail Lodge.

18th August 2006,Prior to arriving at Quail Lodge two classic photos, in Carmel in front of the famous Gilmore
dealership and at Pebble Beach on the 1 of the famous 17 miles road.

September 2007, Turin. The second RUF RK Coupé delivered to Germany.

8 FEBRUARY 2008

On 8 February 2008 in Rome, at the exhibition "Scrigno Tesori d'Italia", STUDIOTORINO on behalf of "Studio M" displayed a scale model of the Maserati "Cinqueporte".
On the same occasion, again for "Studio M" they launched the colour and trim for both exterior and interior for the Fiat 500 "Pepita".
The Technical Partner for these two projects were Salt Gavina ADM and Daniele Gaglione.

5th February 2008, Villarbasse, The 500 Pepita before delivery to Rome. Painted with 24 Carat gold in the mix,
even the gold on the tyres is painted with the precious metal . The Interior is upholstered in crocodile
skin and the dash finished on mother of pearl.

Première on 12 December at the Turin Gallery, COUPETORINO is presented at the exhibition "FORMS OUT OF THE SERIES" with a scale model, imagined for a single model derived from the historic icon of the spider, the Mercedes SL (R 230).
